It's not super often that I get to bridge my creative editorial work with a paid portrait session, but this was one of those times. Bryan, a local pianist and musical artist, hired me to do a moody, cinematic portrait session at the National Cathedral in Washington DC - at night. While I typically shoot during the day, I absolutely loved the moodiness of this session and using the lights of the cathedral and my flash to create these photos that will be perfect for his Spotify page and more. I would absolutely love to do more sessions like this for musical artists and beyond!
